BAND CAMP 2018
It's that time of year again!
ROOKIE BAND CAMP:
Wednesday, July 25th
9 A.M TO 5 P.M.
This is for ALL new members along with drum majors and leadership. ALL Color Guard members also. (Drop students off at the rear parking lot off of Big Horn)
FULL BAND CAMP SESSION 1:
Thursday and Friday, July 26th and 27st
9 A.M. TO 5 P.M.
This is for ALL Band and Guard students.
FULL BAND CAMP SESSION 2:
Monday-Friday, July 30th- Aug. 3rd
9 A.M TO 5 P.M
This is for ALL Band and Color Guard students.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring your instrument/equipment if you have them
Lunch, or money for lunch
Refillable water bottle
Comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and a hat, there will be lots of marching out in the sun, its sure to be hot!

These are the spirit days for band camp this year. Sections have prizes!

• Friday, July 27 – America/USA
• Monday, July 30 - Tie Dye/Hippie
• Tuesday, July 31 - Super Hero
• Wednesday, Aug. 1 - Dynamic Duo
• Thursday, Aug. 2 - Disney Day
• Friday, Aug. 3 - Rainbow Day
For Rainbow Day each section gets a color and using the days before Rainbow Day, try to make your whole section wear that color on that day. Of course we had to put the smaller sections together so they will be counted as a section.
Yay! Now the colors:
• Trumpet/Mellophones - blue
• Tenors/Bari saxes/Bass clarinets - green
• Trombones/Tuba/Baritone - orange
• Clarinets - purple
• Altos - red
• Flutes/piccolo - yellow
• Guard - pink
• Percussion - black
• Drum majors - white

8/3: Pizza, Fruit, Dessert
Lunch is from 1 to 2 pm daily. Lunch is available for purchase for $3.00 a day. There is also an option to pre-pay your students lunch account. Pay $20 in advance and get 8 lunches. That is a $4 savings. We will mark your students account as they use it. (Can be used for band camp and/or Super Saturday rehearsals) NO Leaving Campus at Lunch! (You can bring your own lunch but there is no refrigeration.)
We will need help serving 130+ students during lunchtime, as well as donations of chips, fresh fruit, and deserts. Please click on the button below to sign up.

MONTHLY BAND BOOSTER MEETING:
When? Wednesday, July 25th
Where? LCHS Band Room
Time? 7-8 p.m.
We will be holding a booster meeting in the band room from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. to go over Marching Band, Concert Band, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion, as well as fair share and fundraising.
All are welcome to attend.

END OF BAND CAMP BBQ/POTLUCK & PERFORMANCE
When? Friday, Aug. 3rd
Time? 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
All families are invited to hear and see what the band and guard has learned during band camp. We will serve hamburgers and hot dogs. Please RSVP by clicking on the link below.
