One of our most popular LCHS musical groups is our Jazz ensemble. The Jazz ensemble performs various lively jazz arrangements at on-campus concerts and at off-campus events around our community. Jazz Band is offered all year during zero period as a regular credited class. The Jazz band consists of approximately 20 musicians and is by audition only. Along with competing separately during our scheduled reviews, our Jazz ensemble also represents Laguna Creek at the Sac State Jazz Fest, Woodcreek Jazz Festival, and the annual Reno Jazz Festival.
