There are many opportunities available throughout the year to participate in our fundraisers. Below is a list of some of the events you can be involved with to help raise money. Sponsor Letters
These form letters are available in the Band Room, on our Forms page, or my clicking HERE. Students are encouraged to send these out to request support. Ongoing all year.
We have the opportunity to volunteer to work at RiverCats games in their concession stands. Watch for signups in the Spring.
Through
your employer you may be able to designate Laguna Creek High School
Band Booster Club (a nonprofit organization Tax ID #20-5833148).
Fireworks presales start in May. Watch for signups in early May to work shifts.
Butter Braids, Cookie Dough, and Candy Sales
These sales are held throughout the year and are done on
an individual basis with each student. Flyers are sent home with the
students. This is a great way to stock up your freezer and help out the
band at the same time!
Purchase gift
cards through Great Lakes Scrip at a discount to the LCHS BBC. Orders
are due the 1st & 3rd Tuesday by 6pm each month. More information on the Scrip page.
The
Booster Club will receive a 3% contribution for each dollar spent.
Each person receives a "scrip card" which that person then loads and
activates. Make sure you put "Laguna Creek High School Band Booster
Club" under "beneficiaries", not your student's name. Get your card
from Mendora Servin, our Treasurer.
This program works through your Safeway card.
Sign up by going to www.escrip.com and click on "Sign Up". The group ID

Do your normal online shopping by
going through eScrip Online Mall to earn money for the Band. Click on

SaveMart Supermarkets S.H.A.R.E.S. Program: The Booster
Club has S.H.A.R.E.S. cards. Show your card when shopping and the
Booster Club receives a maximum of 3%.
This event usually
takes place in the Fall. The students play all day and end the day with
a free community concert. Students collect pledges. For a $25.00
donation you can be a guest conductor or play with the band. Please
help with a pledge.
